Alzheimer Prize for Leif Østergaard
Head of CFIN/MINDLab, Professor Leif Østergaard has received DKK 100.000 from The Danish Alzheimers Association
To mark the Annual International Alzheimers Day - 21 September - the Danish Alzheimer Association is presenting two prizes to researchers who have made an important contribution to research within Alzheimers disease and dementia.
This year one of the prizes was presented to Professor Leif Østergaard for his basic research within brain imaging and capillary dysfunction that contributes to new understandings of Alzheimers disease.
