The European Research Council (ERC) and World Economic Forum have invited four young European neuro-scientists to present their work and thoughts at The Annual Meeting of the New Champions in China.

The four invited scientists - among them one from Denmark - are all considered to be the strongest scientific minds in Europe and represent the future of scientific leadership.

Established in 2007 as the foremost global gathering on science, technology and innovation, the Annual Meeting of the New Champions convenes the next generation of fast-growing enterprises shaping the future of business and society together with leaders from major multinationals as well as government, media, academia and civil society.

The meeting will take place in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China, 10-12 September 2014.

The Danish Prime Minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, is on an official state visit in China from 10-13 September 2014 and she will, as part of her program, participate in panel discussions at World Economic Forum’s meeting in Tianjin. The Danish Prime Minister is accompanied by a group of Danish business leaders and organizations with the purpose of promoting Danish interests in China.
