My research primarily focuses on the neuropsychiatric aspects of developmental disorders (ADHD, autism) and depression in adults, the connection between inflammation, gut bacteria (the microbiome), and mental illness, as well as electroconvulsive therapy. I conduct both clinical, patient-centred research and register-based epidemiological studies.
