As a postdoctoral researcher, I investigate the mechanisms underlying acute ischemic stroke, with a particular focus on cerebral perfusion and the subsequent vascular changes in the brain. My academic background includes a degree in biology with a specialization in zoophysiology, as well as a Master of Science in Engineering in biomedical technology. I apply these interdisciplinary skills in both basic and translational research, utilizing animal models, behavioral testing, advanced imaging techniques, and spatial transcriptomics to study pathophysiological processes and potential therapeutic interventions.
My primary job responsibilities are research, teaching, and supervision.
