Title: Integrating Neurostimulation and Neuroimaging
Abstract:
I will give an overview of my research activities on combined TMS-fMRI and on electric field calculations for brain stimulation. The possibilities of the on- and offline combination of TMS with fMRI for localizing key areas in sensorimotor integration and in assessing effective task-dependent connectivity will be highlighted. Further, the main findings gained so far from electric field modeling for brain stimulation and the future potential of this technique will be highlighted.
