With a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience from CFIN, my research revolves around the intricate world of extracellular vesicles and miRNAs in ischemic conditioning in relation to acute ischemic stroke. Through molecular and cell experiments on primary human brain microvascular endothelial cells, I strive to contribute to the ever-evolving field of stroke research.
For my Masters thesis I focused on Parkinson's disease and used C. elegans as a model organism, under supervision of Anders Olsen (MBG, AU).
For my bachelorsproject, I studied milk proteins under the supervision of Jan Trige Rasmussen (MBG, AU).
Driven by a passion for neuroscience I hope to contribute with small puzzle pieces to the large complex puzzle of brain-related disorders.
