My research focuses on human adipose tissue biology, particularly stem cells, tissue remodeling, and the mechanisms that govern tissue function in metabolic disease. Using a translational research approach, I investigate how changes in the cellular and molecular composition and function of adipose tissue contribute to disease pathogenesis, with the goal of identifying new therapeutic targets and treatment strategies.
