Profile

My field of expertice is MR imaging of the blood circulation in the smallest vessels of the brain. I develop analysis tools with quality controls that I make available to colleagues. I am M.Sc. and Ph.D.

Research

As a Datamanager, I develop pipelines for data processing of MR images. Particularly, imaging and quantification of brain perfusion measures have my interest.

My primary focus is understanding how image acquisition, mathematical modelling and post-processing steps influence the parameter accuracy and precision.

My goal is to optimize the imaging setup and post-processing pipeline for each brain disease and making data processing tools available to CFIN colleagues and collaborators.

Teaching activities

Engineer from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with profile: Applied Physics.

Ph.D. in Perfusion imaging using MRI performed in collaboration with Danish Research Center for Magnetic Resonance on Hvidovre Hospital and Institute for Matematical Modelling on DTU.

Job responsibilities

I am developing programs for dataprocessing of magnetic resonance (MR) images. Especially for perfusion and diffusion calculations. I combine them with programs that correct for patient motion and image-noise into a data-processing pipeline, which makes advanced data processing and quality control available for colleagues.

I am also a member of the leaderteam, CFIN-Forum, which manages the data-intrastructure at our center.

I teach perfusion imaging and Matlab.
