Clinical specialist at the Department of Pathology, Aarhus University Hospital with extensive experience in diagnostic pathology, molecular pathology, and biomarker analysis. My work focuses on the development, optimization, and implementation of molecular and tissue-based methods, including NGS and immunohistochemistry, with particular emphasis on precision medicine and clinically relevant diagnostics.
A central focus of my research is tumor biology, molecular alterations, tumor heterogeneity, and clinically relevant biomarkers, with particular emphasis on lung cancer. My research applies methods including next-generation sequencing, immunohistochemistry, multiplex immunohistochemistry, and other tissue-based molecular techniques.
I also contribute to translational biomarker studies in collaboration with clinical researchers, academic partners, and industry.
As clinical specialist at the Pathology Research Unit, I contribute to the planning, coordination, and implementation of research projects in diagnostic pathology. My responsibilities include scientific and methodological support, development of laboratory methods, project coordination, supervision, teaching, and collaboration across clinical, academic, and external partners.
