Profile

As an associate professor, I work with research and teaching oral radiology. In my research, I have a particular interest in the use of CBCT for various diagnostic issues, both in terms of diagnostics and the influence of information from CBCT on treatment and outcome. Education also takes up a lot of space in my everyday life. I am interested in how we create a good framework for education both in the clinical and theoretical part of the teaching and ensure alignment between teaching and testing. I have a degree in dentistry and a PhD degree in dentistry. I have worked in both private practice, municipal dental care and the emergency dental service and also actively participate in continuing education of the dental team.

Job responsibilities

My primary area of work is research in oral radiology and the education of dental students, including project supervision. I am also head of the Section for Oral Radiology and Endodontics with responsibility for the radiology clinic at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health. I am also a member of the study board of dentistry as chairperson. I also hold courses for dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants and act as a radiology consultant for the primary sector.
