I am a psychologist with a PhD degree in psychiatry. Currently, I am a postsocial researcher at The Danish High Risk and Resilience Study - VIA, a longitudinal cohort study investigating offspring at familial high-risk of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or neither of these two mental disorders.
I am conducting research on coffspring at familial high-risk of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. I am particularly interested in the offspring's social development and its association with parental social abilities and development og psyciatric symptoms and poor functioning. I work with both behavioral, clinincal, and fMRI data.
My primary area of work includes data analysis and writing scientific papers. Additionally, I am responsible for planning and coordinating the brain scans (MRI and fMRI) of the participants in The Dansh High Risk and Resilience Study - VIA 19, in Aarhus. Previously, when the children were 11-years-old, I was part of the behavioral, clinical, and MRI/fMRI data collection in the VIA study.
