I am a medical doctor trained at the University of Copenhagen and hold a PhD in Medicine from Aarhus University. As a postdoctoral researcher, I investigate risk factors for and preventive measures for cognitive impairment and dementia following stroke. I work primarily on epidemiological projects, but also have experience with clinical studies.
My research is primarily register-based cohort studies, focusing on risk factors for and prevention of cognitive impairment and dementia after ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke.
I plan and conduct epidemiological projects in collaboration with my research group. In addition, I analyze data from clinical cohort studies, and I am a co-supervisor of a PhD student.
