I have a PhD in theoretical and applied statistics and extensive experience from employment as an associate professor/senior researcher under three faculties at Aarhus University (HEALTH, TECH, NAT) and regional employment in three university clinics under the Department of Clinical Medicine, HEALTH, Aarhus University. My focus is on interdisciplinary research collaboration and, not least, supervision of PhD students and researchers in general. My theoretical statistical background gives me good opportunities to acquire and adapt to new methods and research areas, which I see as a great privilege.
As head of the core facility "Biostatistical Advisory Service" (BIAS), I provide advice and assistance for statistical analyses in research projects at HEALTH, which covers a very broad range of statistical methods including protocol writing, analysis plans, study and trial design and dimensioning, statistical analyses, presentation and article writing. It is also a work area for me to acquire and adapt to new statistical methods and research areas, which is most often initiated by a contact to BIAS, whereby the palette is constantly broadening.
